We've been here a few times this year but that's because it has a lot going for it. The scenery is typical dramatic Purbeck chalk cliffs with Durdle Door at lunch time. Ringstead is much cheaper to park than Lulworth.
I've classified this as Improver (+) because there are plenty of places to land but most of these have no path off the beach. You don't need to be a strong paddler but content to paddle for a coupe of hours in the morning and afternoon. As with many locations it is weather dependent and a chop can quickly appear when the wind comes from S or SW.
Let's meet at the Ringstead car park, DT2 8NG, OS grid SY751814, W3W ///juicy.whirlpool.remarks. There is a bit of a walk down the path to the pebble beach so trolleys will be very helpful.

You must register if you intend to come. Places are restricted in an effort to maintain an acceptable leader/participant ratio. When the list is full you can still register on the waiting list and the leader will then notify you if you may join the trip. That notification may be a few days after registration.
