How to run a club sea kayaking trip course – £25.00
Heavily subsidised by BCC Committee
Registration is closed
BCC Committee Sponsored training for BCC members willing to run or help run sea kayaking trips for the club. Must be 3 star sea standard or equivalent.
As so many people want to come we will run 2 weekends doing the same thing (other on March 9-10). Cost £25 per person (heavily subsidised by BCC Committee).
Course will be run by Rob McIntyre of Sea Kayaking South West who is qualified and experienced at running BCU 4* sea kayak training and assessments which cover much of the same ground.
Starts 9.30 am on Saturday and ends at agreed time on Sunday afternoon - usually about 5pm.
If you wish to stay at Dyers Farm please bring your own food and bedding (single duvet cover, sheet and pillow cases - or sleeping bag and single sheet and pillow cases). Staying at Dyers Farm costs £5 per person per night - please give CASH to Anita (Rob's wife) or leave on the kitchen table at Dyers Farm to pay the cleaners etc. The farm will be available exclusively for BCC from Friday evening until Monday morning.
Bring all your own paddling kit, boats, radios, towlines etc if you have them.
Course will include both theory and practical sessions.
