The trip down the Dart Estuary is a delightful and normally easy trip. The difficulty can arise if the winds really pick up above F4. Organisationally, this trip needs a shuttle to be set up and so there is more management and coordination required. If there are appropriately skilled and energetic paddlers then it's possible to continue out onto the sea and around to Brixham and set then sort transport out.
High water Totnes is at 10:41 and we need to be getting on the water then. The location is on Dart left (east) bank, down Steamer Quay Road, just past Dart Totnes Rowing Club TQ9 5AL, Grid SX809596, What3Words Crank.Obey.Invite.
