Open to BCC members only
This is the first safety course in a series of three and provides skills and knowledge for paddlers in a placid water environment. The others are for white water environments.
Paddlers should have completed or be at 2 star level and be at least 14 yrs old. It will include several hours on and in the water.
Please bring your safety kit eg: throwline, towline, first aid kit, knife, sling and karabiner. Don't worry if you do not have all of this as we can provide but be ready to buy your own afterwards.
Cost is £10
Please bring your own lunch.
