This trip will out to Flat Holm against the dying tide, aiming to reach the island just before LW which is at 10:54. Assuming we have enough time we'll take a look at the sights and then paddle across to Steep Holm. We may take a look around before launching back to Weston. The tides are just off neaps whic is ideal.
This trip does require a reasonable rate of paddling to be maintained to get across the stream. The ferry glide is very severe and so you'll need to bring compasses and I hope folks will plan the angles beforehand! It's not a long paddle but it is a fun one and rewarding when we get it right.....

You must register if you intend to come. Places are restricted in an effort to maintain an acceptable experience ratio amongst participants. If it's full, contact the trip leader to see whether any more places can be made available.

You must bring suitable equipment or make arrangements for someone to bring it for you (eg. kayak). See what to bring.
