Go Canoeing Starter Session

This is a starter session lasting three hours and will cover a basic introduction to the sport usually in a kayak but canadian canoes or sit-on-tops are also available if you prefer. We hope that you will find it enjoyable and fun. 

This will be run under the new BCU skills syllabus and a Paddlepower Start certificate will be issued. This course is aimed at beginners or those restarting canoeing and will be limited to a maximum of 16 people. 

Adults and children (age 8 and over) are welcome. 

Children under 14 must be accompanied on the water by an adult. We have a Child Protection Policy and code of conduct. 

All canoeing equipment will be provided but you will need your own clothing plus a lightweight anorak and gym shoes. You will get wet so don't wear your best clothes!   

Cost, which includes £4 day membership for our insurance, is £15. 

Full changing and shower facilities are available in the Clubhouse.

THERE IS NO PARKING AT THE CLUBHOUSE, PLEASE ARRIVE ON FOOT.
