We will be running taster sessions on the first Saturday afternoon of each month from April to September.
This is an excellent way to have a go at canoeing before committing to doing an extended training course.
Registration is now available.

We have scheduled 5 Introduction to Paddlesport Courses, running on Tuesday or Thursday evenings through the spring or summer or on Sundays in September.
Each course includes a preliminary swimming pool session and you can see details of the course and register for it via its pool session entry in the Event Diary.
See Introduction to Paddlesports entries in the Event Diary for 22 April, 29 April, 8 July, 15 July and 23 September.
This is a starter session lasting 3 hours and will cover a basic introduction to the sport in either a kayak, an open canadian or a sit-on-top, whichever you wish. We hope that you will find it enjoyable and fun.
This will be run under the new BCU skills syllabus and a Paddlepower Start certificate will be issued. This course is aimed at beginners or those restarting canoeing and will be limited to a maximum of 20 people.
Adults and children (over age 12) are welcome.
Coaches are CRB checked and we have a Child Protection Policy and code of conduct.
All canoeing equipment will be provided but you will need your own clothing plus a lightweight anorak and gym shoes that will get dirty and wet.
Cost, which includes £4 day membership for our insurance, is £10.
Full changing and shower facilities are available in the Clubhouse.
