Meet at the club to leave well before 08.00 - as we have less daylight, just 3 days from shortest daylight hours - summer is just around the corner and we will have to fight our way through weekday traffic.
It's about a 2:30 drive. With a longer shuttle on a very narrow tractor filled roads we probably won't be home much before 19:00.
Please register if you intend to come, it has car details and if driving how many boats you can carry, plus emergency contact details that make it a little easier for the organisers.
What to bring - the usual stuff but not forgetting- Warm paddling kit even though it's in Devon it could be cold A hot drink is now a must have - an unbreakable flask (attached) in the back of your boat. Food - high energy food is best (flapjacks/Mars bars/banana etc. are good) Dry warm clothes to get changed into post paddle.
Transport We share the cost of the fuel (300 miles so could be around £30-£50 per car).
