This week’s (2nd Feb) white water trip is still yet again a work in progress. It was supposed to be Sat but would clash with sea trip so wet spray decks for some.
We'll aim for something G3ish and decide based on river levels and group's ability/size.
It could be cold/warm/dry/wet.

We'll unlock by 07:30 to get away before  08.00 - as we are only slowly getting more daylight and we like to have a 50% safety margin on the water.

On average it's about a 2:15 drive. Often with longer shuttles run on a very narrow tractor filled roads. We probably won't be home much before 19:00.

Please register if you intend to come, it has car details and if driving how many boats you can carry, plus emergency contact details that make it a little easier for the organisers.

What to bring - the usual stuff but not forgetting-
Warm paddling kit it could be cold
A hot drink is now a must have - an unbreakable flask (attached) in the back of your boat.
Food - high energy food is best (flapjacks/Mars bars/banana etc. are good)
Dry warm clothes to get changed into post paddle.

A home made valentine's card for the organiser.

Transport
We share the cost of the fuel (220+ miles so could be around £30-£50 per car).
