One place left:
you will need a CAR and ROOF-RACK (sorry we've run out of roof racks) and be able to take your boat and one other + passenger.

You must register if you intend to come. Places are limited due to the number of boats available.  Please ‘check’ the box on the registration form to display your name.

Destination:  The plan is to head to Studland Bay with the back up of Poole Harbour and the River Wye, and the River Avon if all else fails – we may need to cancel if conditions are not right and we may need to re-arrange if there is not enough boat carrying capability.

No previous sea experience necessary.  This trip will be a good opportunity to try sea kayaking.

This trip will be led by BCC members who are 3* paddlers.  You are expected to take responsibility for your own kit and general safety.

If you need a club boat, email the quartermaster mailto:mailto:quartermaster@bathcanoeclub.co.uk

Kit: Sea kayak, spray deck, paddle, helmet, bouyancy aid.
Wetsuit or suitable clothing and cag.  2 sets of warm clothes, one for the boat in a dry bag, one for the car.  Towel.  Suncream.  Hot and cold drinks.  Lunch and snacks.  Change for parking and post paddle coffee.

Transport:
We usually share transport.  Petrol and parking costs are shared between driver and passenger.  We usually carry 2 sea kayaks per car.

Weather:  This is a weather dependent trip.  Final confirmation of the trip location and time to meet at the club (likely to be 7.30 a.m.) will be emailed the day before.  There is a possibility of the trip being rescheduled if the weather is unsuitable.

If you have any questions you can contact the trip organiser (see above)
