Open to anyone who has passed ITP. No previous sea experience necessary. If under 18 you must be accompanied by a responsible adult for the whole trip including on the water.


You must register if you wish to come:

Beds at Dyers Fm are taken, but Rhoda has said anyone who wants to sleep on the floor (in the living room) can. Bring own bedding/ s.mat etc.


Trip Type
We will sort details when we know who is interested in coming /what they want/ what experience people have.

options are:
1) a peer trip / led by BCC members-you will be expected to take responsibility for your own kit and general safety. See Trip Types.

 2) I can arrange for a qualified guide for 1 or both days. this is usually around £45 each per day, assuming enough people want a guide. We will sort details when we know who is interested. Those with no/little sea experience should assume 1 day with a guide or not paddling.

3) Mix of the above.

Plan will be: Fri evening meet at Dyers Fm, ready to paddle Saturday/Sunday. Return Sunday evening.  If weather looking good we may be able to paddle Fri afternoon too.

Transport

For environmental and economic reasons we should car share as much as possible. However with sea kayaks only 2 per car is recommended. Fuel cost usually around £30-£50 per car + parking. Actual cost between you and driver/passenger.


Weather

This is a weather dependent trip. We will do our best to find somewhere sheltered on the day to suit all levels of experience.
