8:30 PM - 10:00 PM
Kingswood School Pool, Lansdown
Every Monday evening (except Public Holidays) Bath Canoe Club has use of the swimming pool at Kingswood School from 8.30 to 10.00 pm.
The pool provides a safe environment irrespective of
whether you are an experienced paddler wishing to improve your rolling technique or a novice wishing to learn the basics. It is a requirement of all newcomers registered on the Bath Canoe Club Introduction to Paddlesport (ITP) course to attend at least one pool session during the initial stages of their training to learn capsize and rescue drills in a safe, clean, environment rather than the murky depths of the River Avon!
Use of the pool is free to Bath Canoe Club members, or £5.00 per session to non-members.
Please arrive by 8.15 pm as we lock the doors promptly at 8.30 pm.
On your first visit to a pool session please make yourself known to one of the Coaches to discuss your immediate needs and what you need from us to improve your kayaking skills - if you don't ask, you don't get!
Please note that only boats provided by Bath Canoe Club are to be used at the pool.
