BCC Paddlers can once again enjoy Bath’s biggest public firework display on Saturday 3rd November 2012 just below Pulteney Weir next to the Recreation Ground.

The firework display will start at around 8.15pm.

Meet at clubhouse in time to get on water and leave at about 7:30/7:45 - depending on numbers it could take a while to get over weir.

What to bring-
Suitable clothes for conditions - you may get wet and as always a change of clothes (some warm layers) for post paddle.

A glow stick - most camping shops sell them or Ebay/Amazon are a cheap source - they help everyone to stay safe. Head torches are great as it is pretty dark between Pulteney bridge and the clubhouse.

Food - hot jacket potatoes, homemade flapjacks/cakes, a hog roast or perhaps a packet of crisps whatever you bring put it in a waterproof container. A hot drink in flask, tied in your boat in case of capsize. Don't forget the antiseptic wipes to keep the Leptospirosis away.... And no glass we don't want to add to the river litter

More info closer to date.
