Conditions are still good for Saturday's trip out to the Needles although the wind is increasing in the afternoon. There is a southerly wind which may make landing at Scratchell's Bay a little interesting but we can always have lunch in Alum Bay after spending time at the Needles as a fallback plan.
We need to be at the Needles no later than 12:00 and therefore we should be on the water at Keyhaven by 10:00. That will give us plenty of time and may mean we have to dawdle, but better that than being late. Let's aim to be at Keyhaven no later than 09:30 (faffers earlier) and that way we should be able to park. The car park is at SZ306914, SO41 0TR, w3w:///connected.charmingly.endlessly.
