[22 Aug 19] The weather still looks encouraging as mentioned below.  Let's aim to be on the water by 09:30 to make the most of the neap tide.

[19 Aug 19] The weather is looking kind for a pleasant paddle this week-end and methinks South Devon looks to be inviting.  My outline plan is to get to Hope Cove early and paddle round Bolt Tail and Bolt Head, lunching just after HW which is around 12:00 (hence early start).  This is a committing stretch of water with few exits and the wind is F3/4 ESE, 2ft waves, and so confidence on the water is required, but the forecast does not suggest anything extreme.

Parking will be tight an so early arrival is important. Location is TQ7 3HP, SX675397.

Other venues would be considered if there are preferences.  Could camp Fri night to get an earlier start if that works for folks.

You must bring suitable equipment or make arrangements for someone to bring it for you (eg. kayak). See what to bring.
