The decision is to paddle from Ringstead which is just around from Osmington Mills. The weather is ideal with light winds from NW F2/3 and bright. there is very little tide in that area but HW is just before 14:47. We'll paddle around to Durdle Door and perhaps beyond depending on how the mood takes us.
I vote for a 10:30hrs target to start paddling so leave a little time before then to carry boats down and prepare. Do ensure that you have all the important things for paddling and water, hat plus sun screen.
The car park is clearly marked on the OS map SY751814, DT2 8NG. You can drive to the end of the road, drop boats off, then return to the car park which is not far to walk. A packed lunch is a must because I'll not guarantee that we'll stop at Lulworth, but then ice cream money may be handy.
Do try to pair up to save vehicle miles.
