This is the second of a series of leisurely flat water trips suited to our new paddlers and also for established paddlers. If you wish to progress to 2 star then these will qualify as day trips.
The plan is to meet at the club, sort out our boats and aim to start paddling from Keynsham (Lockeeper Inn) at 10am. There is only one portage lock on this trip. We'll finish at the Cottage Inn, Bristol Docks. Lunch will be taken on the way somewhere. Because we are entering the Floating Harbour and the waterway is overseen by Bristol Harbour Master we have to pay a £7 fee per boat. Using the registration process I will buy the right number of permits ahead of time but will need to be reimbursed.
With some help I will try to arrange the weather again. All paddlers are welcome; kayaks, canoes, SOT, SUP and racers!

Suitable for families, 1 star graduates. All trips can be undertaken in either touring boats, WW boats, Sit-on-tops, open canoe or Stand Up Paddle boards.
These trips are intended to be arranged with a minimum of fuss. We will need to plan drop offs and collects and share cars but that can be arranged later. Most will involve portages of some sort and you will need to bring a lunch and drink plus spare kit etc. Full details will follow.
