This is the first of a series of leisurely flat water trips suited to our new paddlers and also for established paddlers. If you wish to progress to 2 star then these will qualify as day trips.
The planned series of trips are:
Sun 8 Oct - Bath to Keynsham - explore parts of our river you will not have seen before.
Sun 5 Nov - Keynsham to Bristol
Sun 10 Dec - R Thames, Henley to Marlow
Suitable for families, 1 star graduates. All trips can be undertaken in either touring boats, WW boats, Sit-on-tops, open canoe or Stand Up Paddle boards.
These trips are intended to be arranged with a minimum of fuss. We will need to plan drop offs and collects and share cars but that can be arranged later. Most will involve portages of some sort and you will need to bring a lunch and drink plus spare kit etc. Full details will follow.
