Geraint Lee [] emailed saying that he's a volunteer for River Legacy and am helping organise this years Teifi Tour in Llandysul in partnership with Llandysul Paddlers.  This years tour will be held on the 27th-29th October 2017, currently we see between 350 and 500 paddlers of all ages and abilities get on the river for a weekend of Canoeing, Kayaking or Rafting.

There’s a minibus shuttle service running to key sections of the river Teifi including Henllan, Cenarth and Pentrecwrt Weir. If you’re not familiar with the river it provides paddling for all abilities with picturesque sections of the river ranging from grade 1 to 4+ with all harder sections easily portaged, a popular Welsh classic, and for those of you who like a warm up first, there’s a lake to practice on before hitting the river.

If camping or the party doesn’t take your fancy you can still come and have a pint and food with us in the marquee and stay at one of the many B&B’s and bunkhouses in the area, we will also be running a kayaking themed (of course!) pub quiz earlier in the evening on Saturday. Additionally, if you need a guide or maybe you’d like some coaching while on the river - or even just on the lake - we can help arrange this at very reasonable rates, just ask and we’ll see what we can do.

For those of you who may not have heard of River Legacy, we’re a charity operating since 2001 running events to raise money to donate back into the paddling community. We have donated tens of thousands of pounds in this time to clubs, causes and projects helping the paddling community.
If you’d like more information about River Legacy, head over to<>, or just ask!

This is not currently an organised BCC event but registrations are welcomed so that folks can see who else is interested and join forces.
