Leaders: Phil Filby & James Forward

 Trip level:

Improver / Intermediate

We've had some great week-ends at Dyers Farm.  It's a beautiful location both for paddling and excellent accommodation.  I've not planned the paddling details and they will clearly depend on what folks want, weather, and available leaders.  I will certainly be running gentle rock hopping and cruising trips both days and we can do some skills as well.

The farm has been booked for Fri and Sat nights.  Bring your own towels and sleeping bags or bed sheets to protect the mattresses and duvets.  There are 4 rooms and so sleeping on beds for 8.  Good pubs in the area and a fully equipped kitchen.  I'm happy to do a simple curry for all on Sat if the mood suits or someone more qualified in the culinary dept may wish to volunteer.

There will be an accommodation charge which will probably be £20 pp for the two nights.  This may vary depending on numbers.  I'll collect money at the farm.

If registration is full it means no beds are available but floor space remains available.  Contact Phil (trips) to coordinate.

Day visitors may be able to join us. Please make contact with either leader to confirm place for a day trip.

You must satisfy yourself that this trip is suitable for you, that you are sufficiently experienced, able and willing to paddle at the advertised level. For detailed guidance, see trip categoristion. If in doubt, seek guidance from the advertised leader before registering.

You must register if you intend to come. Places are restricted in an effort to maintain an acceptable experience ratio amongst participants. If it's full, contact the trip leader to see whether any more places can be made available.

If you change your mind, that's okay! But please contact the trips officer as soon as you know so that someone else can register in your place.

You must bring suitable equipment or make arrangements for someone to bring it for you (eg. kayak). See what to bring.

You are advised to book a club boat, if you need one, by contacting the quartermaster(s).
