What: A gentle paddle along the canal to take our new boats on their first outing. This is a gentle canal paddle on placid water. We will only go as far as Maunsel Lock. There is a towpath alongside the route all the way and for interest of younger paddlers there is a SpaceWalk to follow or in our case perhaps a Spacepaddle! The lunch stop will be at the Visitors centre.
Costs will be car shared.
Where: Bridgewater and Taunton Canal. Starts and finishes at the Boat and Anchor Inn, Meads Crossing (map)
When: Meet Bath CC Clubhouse on 22 Jan at 0900, load and lETD 0930. ETA start 1100. Lunch stop at the Canal Centre (map) then return to Boat and Anchor. ETD 1530ish, ETA Bath CC Clubhouse 1700.

You must satisfy yourself that this trip is suitable for you, that you are sufficiently experienced, able and willing to paddle at the advertised level. If in doubt, seek guidance from the advertised leader before registering.
You must register if you intend to come. Places are restricted in an effort to maintain an acceptable experience ratio amongst participants. If it's full, contact the trip leader to see whether any more places can be made available.
If you change your mind, that's okay! But please contact the trips officer as soon as you know so that someone else can register in your place.
You must bring suitable equipment or make arrangements for someone to bring it for you (eg. canoe).
