2 Star TRAINING
An evening course to be held on Tuesdays starting on 5 May.
It will be based on the river at the clubhouse.
Arrive 18:00 ready to start at 18:30. We will aim to be finished (all done kit washed and away ready to go home) around 20:30.
This does not include an assessment. An assessment will be arranged later in the year to allow people to practice the skills they learn on the course before going for assessment.

Please read it before starting the course. We will aim to cover aspects people need the most. We cannot cover everything in the syllabus in depth.
Briefly it involves being able to control BOTH a kayak (closed cockpit, sea or ww) AND a canoe (open) on water such as the river by the clubhouse.
Pre-requisites are being a member of BCC, a pass at ITP and paying for the course in advance.
All payments are non-refundable unless another paying member is able to take your place but BCC is under no obligation to find a replacement.
The cost is £75 per person for the course. The coaches give their time for free and the money goes to the running of BCC.
Mark Payne and Ashley Matthews will be running the course with Martin Bowles supervising.
Places are limited so please only register if you are definitely coming and can make these dates. When you register please pay promptly on-line and use a reference so the Treasurer can tell it is for this course e.g. '2* April 2015'
