SEA TRIP - St. David's, Pembrokeshire

This is a weekend meet in an area with some varied and interesting paddling including Skomer Island, Ramsey Island, Strumble Head and The Bitches. There are more sheltered but nonetheless interesting trips around the St. David's headland from Solva in the south to Porthgain (harbour, pub) to the north. There's also potentially kayak surfing at Whitesands / Newgale. All are weather dependent, as usual, but we've quite a number of options. Depending on interest and conditions, we hope to run a couple of trips each day at different levels.

We're camping at Porth Clais Farm, a 10 to 15 minute walk from the middle of St. David's, where you'll find pubs, restaurants and a supermarket. The campsite are aware that we'll be there and they have a provisional booking for 15 people, but it's large and space won't be a problem.
 

Open to anyone who paddles at 2-3* with previous sea experience. If under 18 you must be accompanied by a responsible adult for the whole trip including on the water.
 

You must register if you intend to come. Places are limited to ensure a sensible ratio between 3* and less experienced paddlers.
