SEA TRIP, 3*, Weston-super-Mare (Flat Holm)

Launching from the concrete path near the Birnbeck pier, heading to Flat Holm. There's a strong tidal flow to cross and a steep ferry glide is required to reach the island. The good news is that it's a neap tide, so it will be quite manageable. It's about an hour and a quarter crossing each way so it will be dark by the time we're back at WSM. Bring a glow stick (or I'll sell you one) and a head torch.

Meet at 6.30pm (paddling at 7pm sharp) outside the Anchor Head Hotel, 15 Claremont Cresent, Weston-super-Mare BS23 2ED. Free on-street parking there or nearby. 

Open to those who are about 3*. No requirement for prior experience of night paddling. Contact the leader if unsure of suitability.

You must register if you intend to come. Places are limited to ensure a sensible ratio between 3* and less experienced paddlers.
